CCMAR is pleased to announce a scientific seminar by José Bragança, Professor and Principal Investigator at the University of Algarve (UAlg), whose research focuses on heart development and congenital heart disease.
In this seminar, entitled “Stem Cells, Cardiogenesis and Heart Defects”, the use of pluripotent stem cells will be discussed as a powerful approach to understand normal heart development as well as developmental dysfunctions leading to congenital heart defects.
