I have always been fascinated by the biological diversity that can be found in our planet, past and present, and so, a childhood passion for dinosaurs grew into a major interest in biology, with a special focus on evolution. As such my current work focuses on using genetic data to better understand evolutionary patterns and how different factors can affect these. Using modern approaches like transcriptomics, I aim to look for genetic differences between related species that result from or drive evolution and differentiation between species.
