To understand the impact of climatic change in fisheries we will develop a vulnerability framework (based on exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity) allowing estimate an index for individual species/fisheries vulnerability to climatic change.

Project Activities

The Portuguese coast has experienced substantial changes in climatic events. CLIMFISH project aims: i) describe the projected climate-driven changes that are relevant to Portuguese marine key fisheries/species; ii) assess the potential impacts of climate change on key fisheries and species in Portuguese coast; iii) assess current management to identify approaches that are adaptive to potential climate change scenarios.
