In this study, the characterization of the reference situation and preparation for the monitoring program of the ecological component in a salt marsh area in the Ria Formosa Natural Park was carried out, with the construction of a support structure for the Faro Airport, a lagoon area with two components: an extensive aquaculture area, adjacent to a natural area.
