Induction

Project Summary

We continued the research line initiated by the InDeGrass project and experimentally investigated the induction of anti-herbivory defences by another seagrass species. At the Ramalhete station (CCMAR), we conducted a rigorous assessment on the ability of seagrass Zostera marina to induce anti-feeding defences in response to direct grazing by mesoherbivores.
