Next Wednesday, the 22nd of April, CCMAR Seminar will feature Dr. Cláudia Cavadas, Principal Investigator at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra.
In this session titled “The Contribution of Each Scientist to Advancing Gender Dimension in Science”, Cláudia will explore the role that each scientist plays in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within research teams and institutions.
The seminar will also highlight the activities developed within the GendER@UC project, focusing on practical strategies to integrate the gender dimension into both research content and scientific careers. Drawing from her experience, she will share perspectives on how individual contributions can drive meaningful change in the scientific environment.
About the Speaker
Cláudia Cavadas is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and a researcher at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, where she leads the Neuroendocrinology and Ageing group. She previously served as Vice-Rector of the University of Coimbra, where she coordinated the GendER@UC project.
