Engaging in EU policy making: a community and individual journeys

Abstract

Scientific research does not exist in a void. While as researchers we are trained to navigate the world of science, zooming out to the overarching European research policy landscape may seem daunting. In this webinar, Marta Agostinho will reflect on pathways towards science policy with the concrete example of an alliance created by research institutes, as well as her own personal journey as a researcher turned into a science advocate.

Marta Agostinho is the Executive Director of EU-LIFE, an alliance of leading European research institutes in the life sciences that aims at promoting excellence in research and acting as a voice for research institutes in the European policy.
