Polyoxometalates (POMs) represent a broad class of anionic inorganic (V, Mo, W) clusters with versatile structures of chemical and physical properties. Novel POMs compounds were synthesized and characterized and study their biological properties regarding ATPase inhibition and antibacturial activities.

Islem Meskini
Islem Meskini, is a third-year PhD student in Chemistry at the Faculty of Science in Monastir, Tunisia.The research topic is about the synthesis of new hybrid polyoxometalates and the study of their biological and optical properties.
This seminar will be hosted by Professor Manuel Aureliano Pereira Martins Alves.
