This seminar will explore the role of programme and project officers within the EU institutions and their contribution to the implementation of European Research and Innovation (R&I) programmes and policies. Attendees will gain insights into the management of R&I proposals and grants, as well as how these efforts drive research impact and evaluation across Europe.
About the speaker
David G. Pina graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Coimbra in 1999 and earned his PhD at the University of Salamanca, Spain, in 2004, where he focused on the structural stability of proteins. Since 2007, he has been working at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium, where he is actively involved in research and innovation (R&I) policy and programme implementation.
