Stacey is joining us for a 9-month internship to study chemical communication in fish. Welcome onboard!

1. Tell us a bit about the work you are doing at CCMAR.

I am on an internship for 9 months from the University of Exeter, UK. I am involved in a project investigating the use of chemical communication in Siamese fighting fish with focus on the role of dominance.

2. What were you doing before you joined us?

I had finished the second year of my BSc, once my internship here has ended I will return to Exeter to complete my degree in marine biology.

3. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When I can I enjoy travelling and experiencing different cultures. I also do my best to visit and help at the veterinary clinic I used to work for before I started university.
