A new book, released in July 2008, by Science Publishers, dedicated to the physiology of fish larvae has two articles written by CCMAR researchers.
The book aims to be a resource for students and for researchers interested in biological and physiological development, specifically at the fish larval stage.
The book, with 742 pages, intends to give an explanation about fish larvae development and differentiation, how the amount of salt, water and acid-basis balance are regulated, how gases are transported and exchanged, how the energy is acquired and used, how they defend themselves and finally how they grow.
