Generic representation of Size Matters – Looking for Invisible Plastics

This workshop is aimed at opening up new directions in marine fish research with a potential impact on the assessment and management of exploited coastal resources and ecosystems. It will bring together marine biologists, social scientists and resource economists with different expertise in the field of coastal fisheries to discuss recent advances, gaps in knowledge, future research needs and ways to integrate biological and socioeconomic aspects for the conservation and management of coastal resources. It will also foster collaboration among geographically dispersed scientists with a view to create a novel European, multidisciplinary platform of scientists working on coastal fisheries.
