The common and unifying goal of the SciTour project is to conduct research, develop tools, and produce content to not only engage and attract new visitors to new locations, but also involve and educate both new visitors and local populations, based on the success of results, mission, and values. The SciTour research project is the first step to validate and subsequently coordinate a concerted regional strategy for creating a world-class offering that can help differentiate the Algarve region.
