I'm a PhD student at ECOREACH group. My project is titled "Population dynamics and biological aspects of Carcinus maenas caught along the Portuguese coast: contribution to fisheries management," and I received a PhD fellowship in 2021. Previously, I was a master fellowship in the "CRUSTAPANHA" project at the University of Algarve. I completed a BSc in Biology (2017) and an MSc in Ecology (2019) at the Universidade de Coimbra, Faculdade de Ciencias e Tecnologias. So far, I have twelve scientific publications as main author and co-author and eleven oral communication. Over the past few years, my research has predominantly focused on three species of small crabs found along the Portuguese coast, which has significantly contributed to my expertise in the field of carcinology. My areas of expertise encompass Marine ecology, Carcinology, Fisheries, Climate change, and Marine fish.
