I have a background in Biology and Science Communication, and I work where scientific research meets society. My job is to make the knowledge produced at CCMAR easy for different audiences to understand. I understand science, research and knowledge production. This means I can keep up with scientific developments and explain results, projects and discoveries in a way that is clear, relevant and responsible.
An important part of my job is working with researchers, helping to share science with the public and making it easier for scientists to connect with the public.
I am also in charge of the communication tasks for AQUASERV, a European project that CCMAR is coordinating. This includes online services, websites, events and multimedia formats.
