CCMAR has acquired an "AKTA pure" to reinforce the capabilities of PROTMAR, the protein and biodiscovery pipeline. The equipment is an advanced chromatography system for fast and high yield protein purification.
General presentation session: ÄKTA pure: introduction to the system and suitable applications.
Laboratory session:
- Description and functionality of ÄKTA pure system components (pumps, valves, fraction collector, monitors & sensors, etc.)
- UNICORNTM software: system control, method editor, administration and evaluation of results.
- Practical preparation for a run, calibrations, column connection, etc.
- System maintenance recommendations and good use practices.
