Measuring behaviour

This training session will focus on how to define behavioural variables so that we can measure, analyse and apply them in scientific research. For that, we will use examples of several taxa to build ethograms, learn the methods to record and register behaviour on different types of studies and learn the possible uses of such data.

From 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, and from 13.30 pm to 15.30 pm.

Participants are expected to have at least some knowledge on general biology, physiology, ecology and evolution.

Free entrance, registration mandatory through jsaraiva@ualg.pt. Limited to 10 participants!
