The new LC-MS equipment is included in our analytical platform, which is integrated into the EMBRC.PT infrastructure.
This last-generation and highly versatile equipment enables the identification and quantification of a large diversity of molecules, such as natural compounds, contaminants and toxins.
The new LC-MS comprises a hybrid mass spectrometer (Orbitrap Elite) with very high resolving power, up to 240,000 FWHM, and MSn, n up to 10. The mass spectrometer is coupled to a Thermo Scientific Ultimate 3000 UHPLC.
This equipment is available to researchers from different areas of knowledge, as well as to users from the education and industry sectors.
