Reef fish spawning aggregation research in the Florida Keys

Understanding the nature of migratory behaviors within animal populations is critical to develop and refine conservation and management plans. However, tracking migratory marine animals across life stages and over multiple years is inherently difficult to achieve. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has been studying reef fish spawning aggregations in the Florida Keys for over a decade using many different technologies (such as split beam surveys, diver surveys, stereo cameras).
